About Us

Founded in 2001 by Deborah Carr, Bellissima! is a member of the Norfolk Choral Collaboration organization developed by the Norfolk Foundation for the Arts. There are twenty-six singers who represent all of our Tidewater south-side cities. Musical selections range widely from classical and contemporary sacred and secular music to jazz and the folk songs of many countries and from many traditions.

With a delightful and impressive repertoire representing a wide variety of music to suit a wide variety of tastes, Bellissima! is composed of highly skilled and dedicated women who love to sing. This enthusiasm is apparent in every concert performance from the first note to the last.

The Bellissima! sound is unique, compelling, delightful and inspiring, performed by a sophisticated choral ensemble that consistently strives for the very highest of standards in quality professional entertainment and performance.
